Watched by armed guards, the drivers must unload all their freight: sand, buckets of housepaint, roof tiles, or coconuts – doesn’t matter what. A crowd of helpers stands around, waiting for pay. Hours later, when everything is unloaded, one of the soldiers will nod his head, and all the goods can be reloaded.
