The Japanese founded a peace university which cruises around the world without a break. With up to 1,000 passengers on board, the Peace Boat advocates international understanding. It also serves as a neutral platform for representatives from conflict parties to meet for honest conversations and dialogue. |

At sea, we start to question our convictions. And this is exactly the intention of this slightly different cruise ship. At 21 knots, this research ship cruises around the world to work for world peace. It is a slow process, driven by 21,000 PS Diesel engine and the optimistic motto: "Peace is Possible!" |
